Turn an opportunity into a specific project
A broad sector such as tourism, technology or renewable energy is not yet a licensing plan. Describe what the business will sell or do, who its customers are, and where it will operate. The activity classification and applicable requirements need to match the real project.
Questions for the initial review
- Which activities and locations are intended?
- Who will own and manage the company, and what are their nationalities?
- What establishment, business identification and sector-specific permissions need review?
- What operating, reporting and professional support will the company require?
PT PMA, OSS and residence
Review the proposed structure and activity through the official OSS system and current investment guidance. An NIB or company registration does not replace all activity-specific requirements. Company formation and investor KITAS are different matters; completing one does not automatically complete the other.
If family members plan to relocate, discuss their cases separately. Do not treat an investment budget as proof of eligibility for every residence category or as permission to carry out any job.
Understand costs and responsibilities
An initial quotation should distinguish establishment support, licences or registrations, government charges, professional fees and ongoing services. Confirm exclusions and follow-up responsibilities before agreeing. Project review does not guarantee an investment return or immigration approval.
